We went to Yellowstone on Saturday to see the geysers, the waterfalls, and of couse the animals! We saw Old Faithful erupt twice, waterfalls, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, elk, chipmunks, and lots of bison. Saturday morning it was 42 degrees so you can understand why Tara' & I have scarves on in the morning. It was a great time and we got to see buffalo maybe a little to close.
What *exactly* is that yellow and green pit? I'm confused. Maybe because I live in Tennessee. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a thermal pool that comes from the earth's core and the water is at least 200 degrees. They are all over Yellowstone in the geyser basin. The hotter they are the more blue they look- this one is Tara' s favorite.
ReplyDeleteGlad you cleared that up. I just figured you were great a Photoshop.
