On Sunday we had some visitors- a mama moose and two baby moose! All the animals in the valley are chowing down for the upcoming winter so they are consuming everything in their path. We have lots of trees in our yard that have berries, so they camped out in our yard for a long time. Oscar was so excited and was able to watch them from our kitchen window while they were only 10 feet away. After eating all the vegetation in our yard they made their way through the neighborhood and even came back later that night for more snacking. I hope they find lots to eat, winter is so hard for the moose population in the valley and they need all the food storage they can get. Good luck mama and baby moose!
