Field Trip- Yay!

Oscar's class took their first out of state field trip on Wednesday- they went to the Idaho Falls Zoo! Oscar has been talking about this field trip since June and he has been so excited. Also, he was going to be able to ride a bus there! His school has two buses that are equipped with car seats strapped to the benches, so they are able to brings the kids places. They have been to the library, museum, etc, but this zoo trip is by far the farthest they have gone on a field trip. Chris & I took off of work to accompany his class and his teachers, they were very thankful for the extra help they received from us and two other parents. When you have ten two-three year olds, you need as many parents as you can get. The kids had such a wonderful time and they were so excited to see the animals. They saw this tortoise and all the kids starting shouting that is was "Crush" from the movie Nemo - totally cute! Oscar is still talking about how he saw "Crush". I am so thankful that we were able to go and that his school allows the children to have these experiences together.
