Paw Paw Charlie in Jellystone

Daddy came to see the jauberry gang last week! We had the best time with Paw Paw Charlie and it was so much fun taking Dad around to see all the sites. Thursday he went fishing in the Hoback Canyon and Snake River with Chris. The only downside was that the free waiters that someone had given Chris were free for very good reason- they were no longer waterproof! BBBRRRR! Dad had a great time anyway because who cares about freezing water when you are having such a good time.

Friday we went to Yellowstone and took Dad to see Old Faithful, Lower Falls, Paint Pots, etc. We saw several elk up close, which was great, and made it back almost in time to get Oscar from school (thanks again Pam & Matt!)

Saturday morning we took shelter under Wells Fargo's roof as hail and torrential rain poured down ten minutes. Then we went to the Harley Davidson shop, where Oscar got a new motorcycle toy, and then off to the Farmer's Market. It was still slightly drizzling as we went into the local Great Harvest Bakery. We sampled their delicious bread and bought a hot loaf of their "Popeye" bread (spinach, sun dried tomatoes, cheese, absolute yum). What a great start to a Saturday morning!
